A Chinese electronics company, Xiaomi, which is headquartered in Beijing, has been launching the cheapest gadgets with stunning features since its inception. Also, today itself, Xiaomi launched its first Android Go mobile phone and live-streamed on its YouTube and Twitter channel.

Last week, the company marketed its Android Go device’s launch by utilizing the hashtag, #MiForYou!

The event began at 12 noon in the afternoon.

With this price, Xiaomi Redmi Go is offering a lot of India-focused features. Following are its features and specifications:

Due to its bewildering features and price, the device’s look has the capability to astound a common man. In addition, the device will have pre-installed apps such as Gmail, Google Chrome, Assistant Go etc. It was previously announced in the European market with a price of 80 Euros which was coming INR 6,500 on conversion. Above all, Xiaomi has launched the same phone in Philippines with PHP 3,990, which makes INR 5,426. However, in India, they have kept the cost of the phone very low (Only INR 4,449) as compared to the foreign markets.

One of the most popular brands in India which provides smart phones at such cheap rates is, Micromax. Seems like, this phone will give a stiff competition to the devices produced by Micromax and other Indian brands. After Chinese brands such as Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo, entered Indian market, Indian brands especially Micromax and Lava started to lose their space in the market which in turn hampered their revenues.  In conclusion, Indian brands are recovering gradually and trying their best shot.

With the launch of this phone, Xiaomi is all set to enter into the niche market where smart phones under INR 5000 play a huge significant role.
