Indian captain Virat Kohli looks set to go on an India West Indies Tour for the total length of the visit and won’t take any measure of rest even after the world cup hassle.

Kohli could have taken rest had India won the World Cup however the Men dressed in Blue just failed to pursue down the goal of 240 runs in the semi-finals of the world cup, slamming out of the competition from the semi-final stage. From that point forward, there were bits of gossip that both Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah may take rest. But this now stands off false. The playing squad is now all set to take an India West Indies Tour.

While Kohli looks set to make a trip to the Caribbean islands, Bumrah could be refreshed at least during the limited-overs arrangement. Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane would have driven the Indian team in the limited-over and Test cricket individually had Kohli picked to take rest. The national selectors will name the playing squad for the visit during the India West Indies Tour in multi-day or two and few amazements are expected to come out of the meeting.

According to a report in TOI, MS Dhoni has made himself inaccessible for this India West Indies tour. Consequently, his name will be missing from the list of the playing squad. Dinesh Karthik and Kedar Jadhav might find it hard to hold their place in the group.

India will be playing three T20Is, three ODIs and two Tests on their tour to the West Indies. The initial two T20Is will be played in Florida before it moves to the Caribbean islands. The two Test matches on the visit will be played in Antigua and Jamaica respectively
