India has won 8 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze till date and the team is ranked 5th in the world. To bring out the best in Indian Hockey Team, Assam Government has decided to aid men as well as women hockey team for the next upcoming 5 years.

1. The Hockey World Cup is commencing on November 28.

For the first time ever in the history of Hockey, the father of music, AR Rehman and the Badshah of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan has come together to motivate our Indian Hockey Team through a musical journey “Jai Hind India”. This has to be a master-piece as the song has been scripted by none other than, Gulzar.

3. Don’t know the dates on which Indian Hockey Team will be playing? Well, we have got this sorted for you! Below are the details:

The Kalinga Stadium will be experiencing the best moves of the greatest hockey players. The last time when Hockey Tournament was organized in India was 2010.
