Someone truly said procrastination is like a credit card: it’s a lot of fun until you get the bill. Because ultimately procrastination will not be the actual thing we will regret, but the deadline could be. Well, one can consider these as the mark of some ink on paper or maybe the stone streak which would help in curing these diseases for many people. It’s not only me, it is about every person struggling to get rid of this. It’s not that we don’t remember what needs to be done because somewhere at the back of our head, there is a continuous thought process for doing the work but the problem arrives if our mind is embedded in the shell of procrastination.

And it is actually very important to break this shell and let the seed germinate on time because while the future self can set goals, only the present self can take the actions.

There is no cure for procrastination instead of fighting with the brain itself, giving yourself the possibilities which might not work according to us.

Putting pro to any word (procrastination) will not make you cool. From a child to an old person, everyone is struck in the web of it. There is one very important thing to keep in mind that being a procrastinator will not solve the problem.  It is very urgent to kick this to do something else for future. It doesn’t affect anyone else but the guilt, shame, and anxiety that we feel are usually worse. Apart from this, before starting the work, we start finding the reasons to no to do it at that point of time whereas when there is a hill to climb, don’t think that waiting will make it smaller. It is to alter the problem before letting it hold our habit. Leaving things for some other day will not increase the number of hours in a day. We will be provided with the same number of hours.

The biggest threat from this problem is that we are not just putting off our work, but also the results. The best way to get something done is to begin.  There are so many things if we consider some points. First, it can provide the innovations, tension free mind, and the biggest thing is that of satisfaction. Far too much of the procrastinator’s precious time is spent toiling in the dark playground and panic is not fun for anyone.

At the end, some beautiful words by Victor Kiam,  “Procrastination is future’s assassin ”.
