Yesterday, while having dinner, a quote by Mahatma Gandhi stroked my mind “There are people in the world so hungry, that God cannot appear to them except in the form of bread”. Have you ever enjoyed the taste of water after being thirsty for a long time or a weekend after a hectic week?
And all I realized was that a delicious food served in a platter gives me the sheer bliss. You don’t need something very materialistic, money etc to turn on someone’s mood. Actually, there are people like me who feel like that putting first spoon/bite of food in a drooling mouth gives pleasure to my soul because food feeds body and the soul both. Meanwhile, I came across the best way to express my words and i.e. “I am at the age where food has taken the place of sex in my life”. Spending money on food gives me another level of satisfaction.
Apart from this, a good food gives me a hope that after a restless schedule, a talk with some egoistic people, the experience of some bad trip, there is something which cheers me up, nourishes my soul.
Some people eat to live but some people live to eat. There is one more saying that “The beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. Giving some other perception to the food you eat can give you the sensations. Beautiful pieces of fish, coated in a spicy batter and deep-fried to a golden perfection. Garnished with the sprinkling of garam masala and a dash of lemon juice for that extra zing. Juicy Chicken pieces bathed in a pool of cream and gravy bursting with authentic flavors is unknown to none. Not only this, for vegetarians also, the soft and tender chunk of paneer, coated with a mix of masala and lemon and grilled on skewers. I guess it’s quite beautiful.
Well, the motive behind choosing this topic was not to make you feel hungry, but just to make the people realize that apart from luxury, there are certain things in life to make the moments happening and beautiful. Basically, all we need is to find the taste of life. Let’s just pick up the little moments and wrap it in spices of love, deep fry it and enjoy every bite of it with the people.
“Pull up a chair. Take a taste. Come join us. Life is so endlessly delicious”.
