It is very important to keep ourselves healthy and hydrated throughout summer. Drinking plenty, and by plenty I mean PLENTY, of water and non-greasy nutritious food is essential when it comes to this deadly weather.

One reason why everyone loves summer despite the overpowering heat is the availability of a variety of delicious seasonal fruits. Incorporating these juicy babies into your diet is one of the best things you can do for your body in this weather of heat and humidity. These seasonal fruits have a lot of benefits. Some of these fruits have a high water content, while some will keep your stomach filled so you do not end up having junk food every day.

If you want to develop healthy eating habits during summer, then you cannot possibly do without the following fruits.

1. Mango

The king of fruits, mangoes are what most of us look forward to when we think of summers. Sweet and flavorsome, the market is flooded with the different kinds of mangoes during summer. Get your daily dose of vitamins A and C, along with beta-carotene which will help you develop better immunity. There are so many ways to have a mango- prepare a smoothie, chop it up into a fruit salad or have it whole! Add it to anything and it becomes amazing, you can just never go wrong with mangoes. 2. Watermelon

If you are a juice person than, kiwi juice is super refreshing and definitely worth trying out.

Whether you have it in the form of a juice or as a whole, lychees are an absolute must.

7. Guava

When it comes to guavas, all of have distinct preferences. Some of us like the unripe, tough guavas with a pinch of rock salt, while some like them ripe and sweet. The vitamin C lets the body develop better immunity, preventing the onset of common summer diseases.
