The Gully Boy star, Ranveer Singh surely got deeply affected from his movie and took out his love for music to next level.
Ranveer’s announcement comes over a month after the release of his film ‘Gully Boy’ which sees the actor plays a street rapper from the Mumbai slums, trying to break into the music industry. The Zoya Akhtar direction has been inspired by the real life stories of Indian Rappers Divine and Naezy. He was critically lauded for the film for his powerful performance and his singing.
Announcing his passion project and the biggest dream he ever dreamt of, Ranveer Singh just launched his own Independent music label IncInk.
Making the news public in an Instagram post, Ranveer Singh revealed that he is all set to nurture and promote talent from the streets of our country, with Navzar Eranee, through his music label.
In an Instagram post, he wrote, “My passion project. A manifestation of a certain vibe. #IncInk is an independent record label formed by artists for artists…to discover, nurture & promote exciting talents from across India.”
He also introduced various artists, who have signed with his label. He wrote, “Presenting #KaamBhaari, #Spitfire & #SlowCheeta from the different hoods of our country. Let’s show these boys some love.”
According to reports, this project has been a dream of the Simmba star for quite a long time now which has now come true.
IncInk’s first single and music video, titled ‘Zeher’ is set to launch as well.
This is confirmed when in an interview Ranveer Singh said. “The first three exceptional talents being launched are Kaam Bhaari (‘Zeher’ vocalist), SlowCheeta and Spitfire and I’m a huge fan of their music. We intend to sign and promote more artistes, who are exploring various genres, in the days to come and showcase their music to India and the world.”
Without a doubt Ranveer’s better half, Deepika Padukone is a proud wifey. The moment Ranveer made this big announcement on social media, his fans sent their best wishes to the actor. Proud wife, Deepika Padukone, had the best words to say for him and his passion project. Commenting on the actor’s social media post, DP wrote, “The sleepless nights, the hours of debate to witness your dream become a reality. You have no idea how proud I am of both of you! I am sorry, I cannot be with you’ll today but I know I am with you’ll with all my heart and in spirit, today and forever.”
On the career Bollywood front, Ranveer will next be seen in Kabir Khan’s 83 which is based on the 1983 world cup win of Indian Cricket.
He will also star in Karan Johar’s magnum opus, Takht, which stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kushal and Anil Kapoor.
