The Indian Meteorological Department states that thundershower and rains are expected in Delhi and neighboring cities like Gurugram, Noida, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad later in the day today.

“Under the influence of fresh western disturbance, scattered to fairly widespread rain/snow would occur over western Himalayan region and isolated over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and north Rajasthan on March 13,” the Met Department said.
They also added, “Its intensity and distribution will increase thereafter with fairly widespread to widespread rain/snow would occur over Western Himalayan Region and isolated to scattered rainfall over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and north Rajasthan on March 14; and will decrease significantly on March 15.”
There are chances of Rainstorm accompanied by lightning and gusty breezes. Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Rajasthan on March 13 and March 14 will be the affaected areas.
On Tuesday, the most extreme temperature was 27.4 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season’s normal. The Meteorological (MeT) Department officials stated the minimum temperature recorded was 12.8 degrees Celsius.
The humidity quotient wavered somewhere in the range of 96 and 34 percent respectively.
Monday recorded the maximum temperature as 28.4 degrees Celsius and minimum to be 12.4 degrees Celsius.
