Donald Trump’s Chief Economic Advisor, Larry Kudlow, on Tuesday said that “President Donald Trump does not make up things”. According to Donald Trump, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had appealed Donald Trump to mediate on Kashmir Issue.
Trump’s Economic Advisor was asked his opinion on this statement by the Prime Minister of India. Larry Kudlow, while being interviewed at the White House, said “It’s a very rude question” when one of the journalists attempted to take a follow up on Kashmir issue.
He also added, “The President does not make anything up. That’s a very rude question in my opinion. I am going to stay out of that. It’s outside of my lane. It’s for Mr (National Security Advisor John) Bolton, Mr (Secretary of State Mike) Pompeo and President, so I am not going to comment on that. President does not make things up,”

Also, former Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, Nicholas Burns, who has played a primary role during India-US Nuclear Deal also added, “This is embarrassing, to say the least, for President Trump. His claim that PM Modi asked him to mediate the Kashmir conflict denied categorically by Delhi. This is what happens in diplomacy when you make things up.”
Trump recently organized a meeting with Imran Khan who is the Prime Minister of Pakistan at the White House. And he has been requested to pacify the relationships that India and Pakistan have.
After Pakistan attacked the Air Force Base at Pathankot, India has stopped involving Pakistan in any sort of agendas.
After Larry’s statement on Trump, our External Affairs Minister, S Jaishankar told the reporters that Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not ask Trump to mediate on this issue.
He also added that “I would like to categorically assure the House that no such request has been made by the Prime Minister to the US President. I repeat, no such request was made by the Prime Minister to the US President,”
Mr. Trump is known for making irrelevant statements unapologetically. Also, his decisions have been questioned by the world’s top influential leaders. Approval of military strikes against Iran and suddenly changing his own mind indicates his craggy behavior. Whereas, on the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is known for his calm behaviour.
