Kargil Vijay Diwas: Akshay Kumar salutes #BharatKeVeer, shares video of jawan singing Kesari song

On Kargil Vijay Diwas, as a type of tribute, Kesari movie star, Akshay Kumar took over to social media and shared a video of a jawan yesterday. In the video, the military jawan was singing Teri Mitti from Akshay’s film Kesari.

Akshay inscribed the video, “Came across this heart-warming video which made my day. When your small tribute reaches the people it’s meant for…what more can you ask for? A million salutes to our #BharatKeVeer.”

Kargil Vijay Diwas, named after the successful Operation Vijay, is praised on July 26. Precisely 20 years back on this date in 1999, India took order of the stations that had been last to Pakistan.

Only some time back, while promoting his movie Kesari, Akshay had invested energy and some quality time with jawans. He had posted a video where he is seen beginning a false battle with a lady BSF official while the tune Ajj Singh Garjega from Kesari plays in the background.

Akshay expressed, “Always a treat to meet the Jawans from @BSF_India. Their training, passion and enthusiasm is top-notch, always a learning experience.”

Akshay has constantly offered his thanks towards the military. The entertainer likewise conceptualized Bharat Ke Veer – a site by the Government of India that enables individuals to make direct money related gifts to the groups of martyred Indian paramilitary fighters.
