All DU Aspirants! Attention!

Delhi University has announced a few changes in its admission process. The admission core meeting happened yesterday and here are a few important excerpts from the meeting:

1. Delhi University has decided to pre-pone its admission process. DU has been following the trend of opening the admission portal in the month of May. But, This year the admissions will kickstart in the month of April unlike previous years. It has been decided that “the online registrations for UG application form will start on April 15 and close by May 7, 2019”. The committee has undertaken this step to make sure that the admissions process gets over before the new session begins.

2. As 12th results will be announced in the month of May, DU 2019 admissions will reopen on May 20, 2019, for updating the marks and courses.

3. Changing the stream might be easier this year. In preceding years, DU used to deduct 5% from the ‘best of fours’ during the change of course. However, this year only 2-3% deduction will occur.

4. This year, the admission under Sports/ECA category will be disconnected from the DU 2019 Admission cut off lists. The process of Sports/ECA category will embark on May 20.

Focus on your board exams and give your best shot!
All the best!!!
