When we talk about movies, Hollywood and Bollywood are the silver screens. While comparing them one can come across more differences than similarities.
If you think that Indians suffer from the fever of Hollywood movies and TV series then you are in a surprise because today it is more common to hear of Indian made films being played in American and British theatres. However, it is not easy to differentiate between the two but one can surely try to look at the similarities and comparison.
Let’s start with a basic comparison. History says that Hollywood situated in a district near Los Angeles, California, United States with its first film from Nester Motion picture company, an unnamed short film by D.W. Griffith whereas Bollywood is in the tinsel town of India, Bombay with its first film Raja Harishchandra by Dadasaheb Phalke. Both these rule the world with their own genres: horror, comedy, romance etc. but Hollywood often brings to the people some epic stuff on sci-fi, suspense, animation and extreme CAD and VFX etc.
Apart from movies, there are many more interesting things related to the star casts of our entertainment source. We have brought to you some facts bet you did not know, now you do, starting with Hollywood.

Hollywood blockbusters are always about crashing the old to bring something new in front of the world. Okay, we lack the budget Hollywood can afford but what about looking forward to scripting ideas? Why do our films always end with a predictable ending and not with suspense? Why is there a Hero always marrying happily to a heroine at the end? What happened? Just started criticizing it? Oh wait, do not forget Hindi mainstream Cinema is the way it is, only because masses want it that way. Also, you don’t need the brain of a rocket scientist; creating original entertainment calls for a little bit of brainstorming.
Yes and that comes from a movie worth watching, no matter whether it belongs to Hollywood and Bollywood.
