After fetching millions of compliments and positive feedback for their performances in ‘Stree’ and ‘Gold’, Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy have shared the primary look of their upcoming film, ‘Made in China’.

Two of B-town’s most smoking new gifts, Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy, are meeting up for a film which has set its sight for a major release one year from now. A week ago it was affirmed that their film ‘Made in China‘ will conflict with Mouni’s another expensive film ‘Brahmastra’ as it will come out on Independence Day in 2019.

The stars have initiated filming their upcoming film, ‘Made in China’. The whole event was announced publicly by sharing the main look of their characters from the film, a parody intended to gain through the developing Chinese products showcase.

‘Made in China’ performing artist Raj Kumar (Raghu in the film) was born and brought up in Gurgaon and then moved to Delhi to have a degree from Delhi University. He was all the while doing theater with Kshitij Repertory and SRC (Sri Ram Centre) in Delhi. He is also an acting graduate from Pune’s Film and Television Institute of India. Raj Kumar’s debut film was Dibakar Banerjee’s ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha’ in 2010. After that he has not ceased, he has not seen any defeats from that point and has turned into the world most loved at this point. He is known for his practical and heart-contacting acting.

On the other hand, Mouni Roy  (Rukmini in the film),  31-year-old bong beauty, is a built-up youthful character of the television industry. She has built up herself extremely well throughout the years and is in huge interest among the high-end film executives now. Beginning her vocation in the year 2007 with Balaji Telefilms’ work of art, ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’, she has acted in more than 15 T.V. shows. Be it her job of Sati in ‘Devon Ke Dev-Mahadev’ ; ‘Meera in Junoon – Aisi Nafrat Toh Kaisa Ishq’ or her acting of Shivanya in her show ‘Naagin’, her job in each show is defended by her striking and exceptional execution. She is a well-trained Kathak artist and has likewise performed in dance reality shows like Jhalak Dikhla Jaa and ‘Zara Nachke Dikha. With her debut presentation in the movie Gold, she left all speechless and in awe of her acting skills and we all can’t wait to see her in ‘Made in China’.

This ‘Made in China’ couple are portrayed as a battling Gujarati couple called Raghu and Rukmini. Raghu is depicted as a battling Gujarati businessman, who sets on a trip to China so as to make his business thrive. This film is about he funny voyage and a few exercises which leave Raghu a fruitful business visionary

Maker and director Dinesh Vijan, who saw direct the significance of the Chinese market with his movie Hindi Medium, revealed to Mumbai Mirror, “The story of a struggling but ambitious businessman is so relatable and Raj and Mouni have distinct looks that are true to the film’s fabric. The shoot is going well even though we were filming in Ahmedabad’s Old City over the weekend. The gallis are so narrow that cars can’t pass through. The actors had to be ferried to the locationquietly in autorickshaws because after Stree, Raj is quite the rage here.”

Talking about the choice to cast prominent TV star Mouni Roy in the film, Vijan had already revealed to Hindustan Times, “We wanted someone who’d connect with the heartland and Mouni, a typical Indian beauty, has a huge fan following. She has a strong personality but gentle eyes and is a good dancer which is essential for the role as her character has a passion for classical Indian dance. She has started working on her Gujarati dialect.”

Under the bearing of Gujarati producer Mikhil Musale, the group will take off to China one month from now for the second timetable. ‘Made in China’ has been booked for its launch on Independence Day 2019.
