With the month of July came an amazing trailer of an amazing movie, Judgementall Hai Kya. This is a Hindi movie starring Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao in prominent roles. Seeing the trailer it comes out that is a comedy thriller directed by Prakash Kovelamudi with Ekta Kapoor as a producer, forming part of the crew.
With Kangana, Ranaut movies comes controversies! Earlier this week, Kangana Ranaut blamed writer Justin Rao for running a “smear campaign” against her and sassing her past movie, Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi. The warmed argument occurred during the promotional event of her upcoming film Judgementall Hai Kya.
After the spat, the Entertainment Journalists’ Guild of India firmly demanded an open statement, a public apology of regret from maker Ekta Kapoor as well as Kangana, and reported their choice to blacklist the actress and not give her any media inclusion.
Listening to all this, Balaji Motion Pictures has issued an official statement, saying that they “would like to apologize and express regret for this untoward incident”.
They said:
Balaji said, “A lot is being reported about the debate that ensued between our film JudgeMentall Hai Kya’s actor and journalist Justin Rao, at the film’s song launch event on July 7th, 2019. Unfortunately, the event took an unpleasant turn.
While the people involved in it fairly held their own perspectives but because it happened at the event of our film, we, as the producers, would like to apologize and express regret for this untoward incident.
We would like to maintain that our intention was not to disrespect or hurt anyone’s sentiments.
Our film JudgeMentall Hai Kya releases on July 26th and we urge the media to not let this one incident hamper the team effort that has gone behind making the film.”
When it comes to the actress, there is a clear NO! Kangana’s manager and Sister Rangoli Chandel have openly stated that there will be no apology from the actress whatsoever! Instead of apologizing, she warned the media persons that “tumne galat insaan se maafi mangi hai”.
