Yes, sadly and extremely, unfortunately, we really are talking about Sridevi Ji as yesternight, India lost one of its biggest superstar of the Bollywood industry.   She was one of the veterans of acting and the industry literally grew old and matured with her. Sridevi Ji started her career as a child and she explored almost every role. From being a young and nasty woman who is the royal pain for everyone to the domesticated woman. She has given the best performances in every single avatar. She achieved heights when she received Padma Shri award which is the fourth highest respectable award of India. It’s given to only the most deserving artists who make a remarkable performance in their respective fields. We were extremely lucky to see her in the recent movies English Vinglish and MOM which were among the most meaningful films in the Bollywood and you cannot look away from the mesmerizing charm of the best actress ever!

Sridevi Ji died due to a severe cardiac attack, late night, in Dubai on 24th of February. She had gone to Dubai with her family to attend her nephew’s wedding. A few pictures of the wedding were also posted a few days back.

Before entering Bollywood, she did a few south Indian movies as she hails from south India. She was a flawless actor. She took a 15-year break after doing the movie Judai in 1997, opposite Anil Kapoor. In 2012, she made her comeback in Bollywood industry and inspired every housewife to achieve whatever they aspire to achieve with English Vinglish (2012). Last year only she did a movie named “Mom” after another 5 years of break.  The ones who watched the movie couldn’t help but applaud her for her role and her acting skills. The movie left the viewers in tears, the acting was that powerful. She did many roles in the initial days of her career, but she gained popularity when she was casted opposite Jeetendra in Himmatwala (1983). The song “Naino Me Sajna” received a lot of love. In the movie Nagina (1986), she could talk through her eyes. Damn! That’s considered to be the toughest part in acting and she did it with such ease and perfection. She was that amazing.

Sridevi was, is and will be the most influential woman in Bollywood industry. She will be remembered for every role that she played, for every novelty that she gave to the industry. No one can replace the Hawa Hawai and her endearing personality.
