The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi congratulated her over Twitter, and all of India showered the lass with their love and blessings through social media.

-Congress leader Mr. Shashi Tharoor also congratulated the winner by posting a tweet, but he also mocked the girl’s last name ‘Chhillar’ in an attempt to lash out at their political rival BJP over Demonetisation.  (Shashi Tharoor’s tweet).

As a result, he got a lot of flak from people. To reciprocate what he said earlier he commented on the incapability of people to understand a pun.

Manushi, however, ad the best response to Mr Tharoor’s comment. The young lady took it sportingly and tweeted back the politician saying “A girl who has just won the World isn’t going to be upset over a tongue-in-cheek remark. ‘Chillar’ talk is just small change – let’s not forget the ‘chill’ within Chhillar”. (Chhillar’s tweet)

Well, All’s well that ends well, it’s a moment of joy and gaiety that the daughter of India won the glorious and celebrated Miss World title which was evading the country for 17 years and then won the hearts again with her tweet. We convey our regards and best wishes to the winner and to all the daughters of India and hope that they too will break all the barriers and represent India on world platforms.
